What you need to know

• Everything must be clean and in wearable condition to be consigned or donated. Please double check your items for wear and tear,
   smells, stains, snags, holes, etc before bringing them in.
• We do reserve the right to reject items for a variety of factors including but not limited to wearability, seasonal trends, brand, wear, etc.
   Please bring in items that are seasonably appropriate. If you are unsure or you think you have the ultimate item, give us a call or send a
   message and we would be more than happy to review it.
• We will go through the items you’ve brought in and return any items to you that we don’t think we can sell. This process can take a few
   hours to a few days depending on season and the amount brought it so please be patient with us!
• Consignment terms are 16 weeks (4 months) to ensure your items have as much time as possible to sell. We do require a contract on
   file with you that you will read and sign once items are dropped off.
• If at any point you want to retrieve any unsold item(s) from consignment, we need 7 days written notice (email or message) to process
   them out of our system as well as a $25 administration fee.
• At the end of your term, we will re-evaluate any items left. Sometimes the right customer just doesn’t come in right away! If we think
   there is still a good chance to sell, we will contact you to see if you would like to keep you item(s) in consignment for another 16 weeks.
• If we don’t think your items will sell at the end of your term, you are responsible for picking up anything left. We will not contact you to
   remind you of items left. It is entirely your responsibility to contact us once your term is over.
• New consignors will have a $5.00 one-time charge on their account. This administration fee will cover the cost of setting up your
   consignor account [as well as the consignor login that allows you to track your inventory online for as long as you are a consignor at
   Karly’s Closet.
• If you choose store credit, you can use it at any time at Karly’s Closet (while shopping in store). Store credit will be held in your name for
   1 year and will expire after that. At any time you can convert part or all of your store credit onto a Gift Certificate for you to keep or
   give away.
• If you choose etransfer, you will receive your profits at the end of your 16 week term.
• Any items left for more than 7 days after your term has ended will become the property of Karly’s Closet. These items will either be
   donated or added to our thrift section.

Below are a few of the brands we are always excited to see come through our door. There are so many more but it’s impossible to list everything below, there are just too many fabulous companies out there to list them all!

Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Joseph Ribkoff, Zara, Anthropologie, Prada, Fendi, Burberry, Hermes, and so many more Luxury Brands.

Brands we don’t:
So many brands are more than just a label! No matter the brand, if you think your item is cute, stylish, and well constructed, bring it in for evaluation!
That being said, we typically don’t take the following brands due to the lower price and quality of the designs.

PRICING:
• Karly’s Closet determines pricing based on several factors including style, original retail price, condition of the item, demand for that item, and potential resale value.
• We strive to get the highest possible price for you!
• When you consign with us, you will have the option of choosing either Etransfer or Store Credit to be paid for what sells.
• With Etransfer, you will receive 50% of the commission (purchase price less taxes) on your items that sell.
• With Store Credit, you will receive 60% of the commission (purchase price less taxes) on your items that sell. Store credit is held in your name for 12 months and can be used at any time. You can also transfer part or all of your active store credit into a gift card to keep or give.
• Items on consignment will be subject to all sales and promotions put on at Karly’s Closet.

WHERE TO SHOP OUR FASHIONS:
• In person! You will have the best selection and can see and feel the quality of the materials first hand!
• Karly’s Closet Website - We strive to post every consignment item on our website as quickly as possible. Donated pieces may not
   always end up on our website.
• Poshmark - Poshmark is a great platform to reach hundreds of shoppers all in one place, giving your items a larger audience. Please
   keep in mind, Poshmark takes a large portion of fees per sale. Your payout will reflect the price after the fees and taxes have been
   subtracted.
• Depop - Depop is similar to Poshmark in that it is a great international platform to sell your items to a larger audience. Depop also takes
   a significant fee per sale so again, your payout will be the price after fees and taxes have been deducted.

PAYOUTS:
• Payouts are processed at the end of your four month term (16 weeks).
• All payouts are paid out by e-transfer or store credit, NOT CASH.
• You can use your credit to purchase from Karly’s Closet at any time during your term. Please inquire about this option at any time.
• Store credit will be held up for up to 12 months from the end of your term and then will expire.
• At any time you can convert part or all of your store credit onto a gift certificate to be used by either you or gifted to a friend.
